DragonCopter

NOTE: If you have a 35MHz transmitter, you MUST NOT TURN IT ON until you have acquired a MUTEX for your channel on the 35MHz page.

Project dragonCopter

The dragonCopter is a quadrocopter electronics project, which I (Helge) started in 2009. Being based on state of the art processors and a high degree of compatibility to the Mikrokopter Project, the dragonCopter is set out to get a new free and open source alternative, with the sourcecode already released under the GPLv3.

  • Current State: Two flying prototypes, the third and fourth prototype will be soldered at the congress (I will bring a small reflow-ofen along for this)
  • Software: Relased under GPLv3
  • Hardware: Schematics released under CC-BY-NC-SA 3.0

Friend-Project: Hardhackers.org

Hopefully I will get a table to do some further soldering and tinkering around.

If you are interested in getting your own dragonCopter PCBs for the congress, please drop a quick Email: helge (..at...) dragoncopter.de

At the congress I will wear a t-shirt with a dragonFly (the logo you can find on the Project Homepage), so you might meet me there and ask a few questions.
