what is this all about
A2600 is a small project run by 9 people who love their old Atari 2600 and think a cheap open source version of it would kick ass. Thats is why we want to meet at the 27C3 and continue our project of building an Atari 2600 clone based on a lightly modified uzebox(http://belogic.com/uzebox/). project status
Last ccc we hoped to release the code. During the year there were some changes in the team. After that we are now facing some legal problems. We hope to get them solved soon.

why clone an Atari 2600?
beacuse we are just doing it for fun and there is no console that is more fun than an Atari 2600 and the real Atari 2600 hardware is starting to get rare.
what we have done
Stuff is working on ATMega. Some parts are not stable right now, some are. Basic parts are working fine.
