customers may rent space in large fridge to store their beverages, food etc, so they don't need to bring their own fridges. see http://maemo.cloud-7.de/tmp/paste/fridge.pdf of last cccamp where this worked without any problems so we won't change anything ;-)

Size of one stack (48€): 300mm wide x 400mm deep (to wall) x ~ 2000mm (2m) high. You may merge stacks to form 40cm deep * N*33cm wide superstacks, e.g. for the very common 60*40*31 Euroboxes.
If there's high demand, we might re-use space left over in height by primary users, after negotiation with those. Please add yourself to the WAITING QUEUE TABLE below.
Access: upon negotiation, either by a fixed schedule (every 2 hours) or by short notice via communication channels.

About Ecology and Efficiency
(Almost) all users will get keys for taking responsibility to allow access for those few other users without key and check their permissions.
To this purpose we issue one coolvilage card with village name and stack number(s) rented to each user - if in doubt CALL DECT 5639 !
There always must be TWO (2) persons accessing the fridge, for safety reasons!
It is of paramount importance to minimize ecological footprint that doors of fridge stay shut as long as possible with as short and few as possible access events.
So we strongly recommend to users to only access fridge at:

if in a pinch, try to use an interleaved scheme of 01:00 03:00 05:0 a.s.o, and in real emergencies still please try to wait until **:30
EVERY USER will try its best to announce access to fridge via the CONTACT CHANNELS at least a 15 minutes (ideally 30) ahead of time and check if others did same so you could synchronize with them, to keep fridge doors closed as much as possible.
If there's no way whatsoever for you to announce access ahead of time, you're still obliged to use a paper+pen facility at fridge to leave a record consisting of username, timestamp PRIOR TO ACCESSING fridge, for accountability reasons, and sign off "all locked and in good condition" after when you finished access. THIS IS MANDATORY when you didn't use the communication channels.
If you cause a mishap, notice anything unusual or messed up in or around fridge: CALL DECT 5639 IMMEDIATELY!

Accesss Procedure (preliminary)
- you use Telegram, IRC, or DECT/GSM to check if somebody else will access within time for your needs to sync with them, you also announce your own access ("#ACC <HH:MM> <villagename>") via same channels, ideally a more than 30min ahead of time, minimum 15min. (see above for procedure when you can't do this for whatever reasons)
- you use your key to unlock the matching one of those padlocks
you take the complete set of master fridge key and padlocks incl the one you opened and unlock the fridge (keep door closed yet!).
- Then you put the complete set into your pocket or on your belt and take it with you into fridge
DONT LEAVE IT OUTSIDE while entering fridge!
- you and your company (there always must be TWO (2) PERSONS accessing the fridge, for safety reasons!) open door, enter fridge and switch on light
- CLOSE THE DOOR immediately!
- find and verify your stack and do whatever you planned to do on it - CAREFULLY - while not messing up other stacks. High stacks of heavy crates are dangerous!
- make sure everything is in perfect condition again before you leave
- switch off light, leave and LOCK fridge
- attach master fridge key and padlocks the way they were attached to the fixture
- send a "#LEAVE all locked" to same communication channels you used to send #ACC
Bring your own tight rigid SAFELY STACK-ABLE(!!!) boxes of no larger than your stack size, there will be NO BOXES OR SHELF OR ANYTHING provided by cool-village!
We will not allow boxes that might slide off the stack when pulled or pushed, anywhere in stacks higher than 70cm!
