Description | The aquarius village will be home to people from, among other places the cccmz and the trololhöle. Several of us have a shared interest in Diving, hence the name (Diving, Dividing and Conquer). We plan to theme our village in the style of the Aquarius underwater research station. |

Aquarius
Habitat structure
Aquarius consists of three compartments. Access to the water is made via the 'wet porch', a chamber equipped with a moon pool, which keeps the air pressure inside the wet porch the same as the water pressure at that depth ('ambient pressure'), about 2.6 atmospheres, through hydrostatic equilibrium. The main compartment is strong enough, like a submarine, to maintain normal atmospheric pressure, and can also be pressurized to ambient pressure, and is usually held at a pressure in between. The smallest compartment, the Entry Lock, is between the other two and functions as an airlock in which personnel wait while pressure is adjusted to match either the wet porch or the main compartment.
Main Compartment
The First compartment is the crew Living room with a size of 8,00 m × 5,64 m equipped with Couches and Tables to chillout and do most of the research like building and repair ROVs and inspect the diving equipments.
Galley
The next compartment is the Galley were the crew can prepare the food during the long mission and store things like the mission critical components like the Deepsea fluid MATE.
Storage Chamber
The last compartment is the Diving storage chamber where the crew can dry wet dive suits and inspect them for any damage.
Projects
ROV
Several missions are planed with air based (currently in early testing), land based (prototypes operational) and water based (early planning stages) unmanned vehicles.
NEEMO 20
NEEMO, an acronym for Neuland Extreme Environment Mission Operations, is a Neuland analog mission that sends a group of hackers, engineers and scientists to live in Aquarius village , the world's only undersea research station themed camp village from where they will explore and meet many facinating villages, talks and people.
