Camping stoves

Are camping stoves (those little ones) allowed to heat meals/cook tea/coffee or do they fall under the "no fire" policy? If they are forbidden is there a way to heat foods and drinks?

Yes, they are allowed - gas powered cooking or grills are ok, as they do not spread that easy ("Funkenflug") - but as always it is good to have a fire-extinguisher nearby. --Haegar (talk) 22:56, 22 July 2015 (CEST)

Trees

Are there any trees around where it would be possible to hang a hammock for sleeping instead of bringing a tent?

From pictures it seems there are some trees, but i doubt they are usable for a hammock. You probably should have a tent or something as backup. Sand (talk) 18:14, 27 July 2015 (CEST)

Caravan definition?

Is there any restriction as to what constitutes a caravan? (truck temporarily but not permanently repurposed for the camp.)

Do caravans need to be registred and approved in advance?

Do they need to arrive before a specific date and time?

These questions have come up and caused discussion at the gate in previous years.

Can caravans stay parked until the 18th (without network and external power) to help with the breakdown?

Family Village Departure

Can caravans and campers leave on sunday from the family village?

- The Holiday ends on Monday for people living in the northern part of Holland (incl Amsterdam) and kids need to go to school

Fireplaces near the lake

Next to the lake there's a fireplace and two BBQ places and a stack of wood. We would love to take a bit of the wood and make some Stockbrot. Is that possible? In the FAQ it says, "Only if the fire brigade allows it one camp fire at the official fire place will be lit." Does that refer to the place next to the lake? How / when can an open fire be arranged?
