In this workshop we will look at how to get started with OsmocomBB, including

• installation/compilation of the PC software and firmware
• attaching the compatible OsmocomBB phone to the PC
• downloading the Layer1 into the Phone RAM
• getting started with the Layer 2/3 tools on the PC

Things to bring:

• Laptop, preferrably with Linux or *BSD
• OsmocomBB compatible phone (Motorola C11x, C12x, C5x), if you have one
• Osmocom USB serial cable (2.5mm jack to USB), if you have one
• git checkout of git://git.osmocom.org/osmocom-bb
