At this time, hopefully everyone who wanted a rad1o got one of these awesome badges. Now, what to do with it except showing your nick?
In this workshop you'll learn the basics, how to receive and transmit what ever you want with the rad1o using GnuRadio (http://gnuradio.org/). Maybe a FM-transmitter for your car? A Remote for your wireless whatever? Or just listen and view all the radio signals in the air?
What you need:
- rad1obadge
- mirco USB cable
- A computer with GnuRadio installed (including the osmocom sources) OR a computer running a prepared VM (here: http://web.xtort.eu/GNURadio-31C3.ova) OR a Live-DVD (here: http://gnuradio.org/redmine/projects/gnuradio/wiki/GNURadioLiveDVD)
- maybe Headphones
The gnuradio examples used in the workshop can be found here: https://github.com/muccc/sdr-workshop
