42 Berlin FabLab
We are a group of coders and makers from the fabrication lab of the non-profit coding school 42 Berlin, otherwise known as fablab|nk. We have a strong connection with the Hardware Hacking Area and our plan is to give workshops and generally support activities there. On top of that, we aim to be a connection point for students and staff of the different 42 schools across Germany (and beyond) or for anyone who wants to know more about our free-to-attend coding schools.
We are into code, printed circuit board design, synthesiser building, embedded systems, LED projects, jewelry making, 3D printing and much more. You will find Graham, Urs, Hilary, Julia, Caro and many of our students around who will be happy to introduce you to our school and lab. We are a friendly community, so come by and say hi :)
Activities and workshops we plan to offer this year:
- Trigg: solder and build our version of the Sprig hand-held console by Hack Club
- Disarray desnaler: solder and build a macropad designed by our dedicated student makers. The Desktopordnungsamt brings you the world’s #1 DIY customizable digital desktop organizer with re-chaotization feature that looks cool on your desk :)
- SynthLab: learn about our weekly audio hardware developers meetup and build a light-to-sound SynthLab badge
