We, the members of the Computertruhe e. V. association, use our free time to repair decommissioned, donated computers and other hardware, reliably destroy all personal data on them and then pass the devices on to people in need and other charitable organizations free of charge.
Our goals:
- Enable participation for people who would otherwise not be able to afford a computer.
- Helping refugees to integrate into our society.
- Support non-profit organizations in their work.
- Protect the environment by reusing functional devices and disposing of defective components properly.
