Text network analysis and visualization is a great way to represent textual data in order to get a different perspective on it. This helps one gain a better understanding of the main topics within an ongoing discourse, their relation to one another, and whether there are any structural gaps in the graph — the place where the new potential ideas could emerge. Finally, knowing the discourse's structure can also help us identify the level of bias in discourse. I will demonstrate how this works using the open-source software http://infranodus.com — so you can use it too for your own projects or for any other types of textual data.
