Anyone who programs with Node.JS knows why it's great. And it really is a great fit to use it on microcontrollers with the low.js, the Node.JS port for microcontrollers.
Controlling electronics through a website served by the microcontroller itself requires just a few lines of code. Because the programs can be written using the non-blocking Node.JS API, it is easy to build complex IoT applications doing many things simultaneously. Check out the website https://www.lowjs.org/ for more info.
If anybody want's an introduction to microcontrollers, especially in connection with low.js, we would love to show what can be done. We will bring some neonious one boards (https://www.neonious.com/neoniousOne) which can be programmed really fast, through the on-board browser based IDE + debugger. We will also bring some modules to interface with (sensors, motors, GPS and more).
Hopefully we can find some time and build some fun things at the congress ...
