Open Access in the context of other open movements | |
---|---|
Open Access to the published scientific literature is one of several loosely coordinated movements aimed at opening up scientific research. Others include Open Data and Open Science, and they are all embedded within the ecology of the wider open movements that include, for instance, Free and Open Source Software as well as Open Educational Resources and Open Hardware.
This talk will highlight some interactions between Open Access and other open movements, discuss current limitations and possible improvements. | |
