Duties - I'd like to be an angel, what would be my duties?

There are a lot of things to do, a rough outline can be found on the angel page. We do not assign angels in advance to positions, instead use the Angel System to sign up for shifts you want to do. You can "book" shifts one week in advance, and probably quite some time before.

Briefings - At what time will the angel briefings take place?

The briefings will be in the heaven, at following times:

Day - Time (CET)
2011-12-26 - 18:00
2011-12-27 - 10:00 and 18:00
2011-12-28 - 10:00 and 18:00
2011-12-29 - 10:00 and 18:00
2011-12-30 - 10:00

Work Hours - When do angels start working for the 28C3?

day hours
2011-12-23
2011-12-24
2011-12-25
2011-12-26 all day
2011-12-27 all day
2011-12-28 all day
2011-12-29 all day
2011-12-30 all day

Work Duration -How long do I have to work as an angel?

This question isn't easy to answer because it depends on the chosen job and the availability of other angels.
Working hours also vary with individual motivation.
As a rule of thumb, four hours a day may be considered normal.

Minimum Age - I'm only XX years old. Can I help?

When you are old enough to attend the congress then you are old enough to help.

(so - what's the minimum age then?) "Hackers should be judged by their hacking, not bogus criteria such as degrees, age, race, or position." (taken from: Hacker ethic) Okkie

Entrance Fee - Do Angels have to pay the congress fee?

YES, everyone has to pay the entrance fee - including Angels.
There are reductions for CCC members and "Nachwuchs".

Badge - Where do I get my Angel badge?

As soon as you have registered with the Angel System, you may obtain your badge at the Ministry of Information/infodesk*.
From experience, badges won't be available until late evening of Day 0, so don't be there too early.
If in doubt, just call INFO.

Also, you may want to bring your own lanyard, as those tend to be out of stock fast.

Things to bring!

Your Cup (to transport your FREE hot drinks)
Your plate, fork, knife and spoon if you would like to 'build' something.
