Food
From 22C3
Human beings (normally) have at least to drink, eat and breathe.

Eating
You can buy something to drink or to eat in the BCC in the Cafeteria, if you think it's too expensive there you may also go to:
- Grociery Store. Aprox location. _Inside the Alexanderplatz mall on the ground floor, between the Plaza hotel and the train station. Basically, walk past the Saturn electronics store, past the Burger King and then you will see it on your left._
- a nearby Dönerbude (todo: find a good döner at Alexanderplatz).
- a Currywurst Bude
- McDonald's (next is at Karl-Liebknecht-Straße 13, 10178 Berlin, find it here)
- Kentucky Fried Chicken (there are four in Berlin, but not really near the BCC, see here)
- Subway sandwich (At Alexanderplatz, ~3 minutes from CC)
- There are also some Restaurants. BTW are Berlins Restaurants very cheap compared to other big citys in Germany.
- Restaurant recommendations of the newberlinmagazine (eg Oliva is nice)
- If you are one of the lucky few to know the way to the c-base you can get cheap food there.
- If you need a good Doener in the middle of the night you can walk the way to the HAKP (note: where the Congress was held before 20C3) where youll find "Fantasia" (open 24/7!)
Inside Alexanderplatz Railwaystation
- Burger King (at Alexanderplatz 8, find it here)
- Asia Imbiss, dishes start at 2,5 EUR.
- Baker
Breakfast
My Hotel is serving breakfast, but it's not included in the rate and is a 10 € extra. Anyone has recommendations for where to get a simple but decent breakfast for around 5€ near 22C3/Alex?
- Lovers of really sweet stuff should find apropriate breakfast at Dunkin' Donuts right next to the Post Office, behind the tracks (see Congress Guide Overview Map)
- McDonalds serves "breakfast" till 11 a.m..
- Several bakeries can be found in the Alexanderplatz railway station
Drinking
Last year it was possible to order a bunch of hacker compatible drinks in the Cafeteria, for an example club mate. I hope this year it will be the same.
Breathing
As smoking is still allowed, but not well seen, (see Changelog#Smoking_Policy) you should be at least able to breathe free outside of the BCC. If you come from a more rural part of the world and consider the Berliner Luft to be too dirty, rail by S-Bahn to some of the outer villages and enjoy real clean, fresh air.
