Since 2022, we have been supporting the people of Ukraine in their fight against Russian imperialism. Because solidarity is particularly necessary and important in times of war and crisis.
While the civilian population in Ukraine is currently suffering most from the Russian army's destruction of infrastructure such as gas, water, and electricity, the peace movement seems to be turning in on itself.
Why are we blind to the suffering of the people of Ukraine? But what can international solidarity look like in times of war? How can we critically examine and modernize historical anti-militarist values? What contradictions might we have to endure in a complex world that cannot be explained solely in terms of NATO and Russia? And what might anti-authoritarian and anarchist alternatives to the state war machine look like?
We want to talk about this and engage in conversation with you.
