What's this Telephony app the Egyptian government want me to install on my phone do?
To use your cell phone in Egypt for more than three months, you are required to download the NTRA Telephony app to register your IMEI and pay taxes on your device. I am suspicious of installing an app put out by a government that is known for doing stuff like deep packet inspecting all internet traffic and blocking parts of the internet it doesn't agree with politically. Does anybody here:
- Have any experience with the My NTRA "Telephony" app?
- Have interest in looking at this app's behavior?
Or, can anybody recommend resources for getting started with analyzing Android apps for sketch behavior?

I want to add support for sending and receiving GPU textures from/to the wgpu Vulkan backend. I have boilerplate figured out for the receiver and it compiles and runs, but when I import the textures into Vulkan, the producer locks up so I'm probably facing synchronization issues.

Neurodivergence and autism are gaining attention in software development, both in research and application. We're especially interested in the perspective of autistic entities as skilled workers: with their own experiences, opinions and working paths. We want to make exactly these perspectives visible and take them serious.
We're an interdisciplinary research team from Saarland, Darmstadt and Chemnitz (locations in Germany) and are looking for interviewees in the IT which self-describe as being part of the autistic spectrum. Ich suche jemanden mit Elektronikerfahrung, der mir bei der Fehlersuche eines defekten Notebooks helfen kann. Es lässt sich nicht mehr einschalten. Looking for Help with CMOS Clock generation
Hi, I am working on my Master Thesis and have to overclock a RP2350. I want to change the externel reference oscillator and/or pipe the generated CMOS clock signal to the chips XIN directly. I could already do some priliminary tests and now want to build a PCB with a good VCO which can either generate a CMOS signal directly or provide me with a sine wave. The frequency range I try to achieve is betwen 15 and 750MHz.
I'm looking for people experienced in this regard which can either point me into the direction where I can find good guides/knowledge for this or idealy can help me out with tipps and tricks so I can avoid some common errors.

Looking for help debugging my power delivery waveforms
My power delivery waveforms dont get accepted by my powerbank, when triggering power deliver using RP2040 ._. GoodCRC as response to SourceCapabilities get accepted, Request gets a GoodCRC, but GoodCRC as response to Accept doesnt (Accept repeats three times + hreset afterwards) This is probably an electrical issue, was working before every time using sketchy mosfets for level shifting (now discrete chip, triggers sometimes using longer cables?!????). Help with positioning stage
I have obtained a stepper table which uses a 3D printer controller board, but there are some things unclear about it (connectors don't seem to fit, motor-to-board connections aren't entirely clear, and so on). I don't have much experience with 3D printers or motor control, so I'd like to have some things cleared up.
(The plan is to use this to make detailed, high-resolution pictures of PCBs, by taking many small photos and stitching them together.)

Help regarding laptop repair (Dell XPS 13 9365 2-in-1)
My laptop (a Dell XPS 13 9365 2-in-1 convertible) died on me some months ago. It is not turning on anymore, screen stays black, sometimes the keyboard lits up shortly. I have schematic and boardview files for the laptop, and I have equipment for flashing the BIOS (but have not attempted it yet). I have a PCB from a special hardware unit I'd like to dump the firmware from. This contains an I2C EEPROM in TSSOP/MSOP package, and a parallel NOR flash in TSOP-1 (48-pin) package. I have a Glasgow to dump the I2C EEPROM contents, but I would still need:

Technically, it's completely fine. The plastic flap no longer closes properly. That is the reason why Cricut remotely shut down the plotter and sent a new one. The functional technology is now useless because the plotter only works with the Cricut Cloud and app.
