Study on neurodivergence in IT
On the spectrum and in the IT?
Neurodivergence and autism are gaining attention in software development, both in research and application. We're especially interested in the perspective of autistic entities as skilled workers: with their own experiences, opinions and working paths. We want to make exactly these perspectives visible and take them serious.
We're an interdisciplinary research team from Saarland, Darmstadt and Chemnitz (locations in Germany) and are looking for interviewees in the IT which self-describe as being part of the autistic spectrum. In a one hour interview (in 2026) we want to talk to you about your daily work and your view of software development. All data will be anonymized, of course.
