Through my volunteer work at Computertruhe e.V. (also present at 39C3), I have a couple of laptops (approx. 30) in undefined condition. Some can be salvaged, some cannot—in any case, it would be very helpful to know what the exact situation is.
I'll bring laptops, three sets of screwdrivers, and odds and ends; we'll sit down together for a while and tinker.
