The Bio-Hacking-Science assembly is a space for anyone interested in the intersection of biology, computation, art, and the ethical and political questions that come with them.

We’re a community of bio nerds, scientists, hackers, and artists working to connect biology with hardware and hacker culture. Our assembly is a welcoming hub for newcomers, amateurs, and experts to meet, exchange knowledge, and discuss current and emerging biotechnologies and their impact on society. We aim to provide a central home for bio-science enthusiasts at the Congress.

We will host a one-hour community workshop providing an overview of our biological initiatives and topics to spark conversation and participation. Alongside this, we’ll bring a collection of static and interactive pieces, artistic and educational, designed to inspire discussion around biological themes, with a focus on the scientific aspect.
