At FOSDEM ("Free and Open-Source Developer's European Meeting") we have been working on a project for our new-generation video box - a device that is used to capture video & audio, and mix it for streaming and recording. During the work on it, we developed bits of code and few pieces of hardware that we want to show.

One of our goals is to have hackable, affordable and usable platform for people to have a working streaming and recording for events.

The current incarnation has been used in FOSDEM 2025, JDLL 2025, FOSSASIA Summit 2025, and in the init Lab hackerspace, together with some other events. Some boxes have been loaned to other events, we don't even have the complete list :)

It's completely open-source, everything is available at FOSDEM's github at https://github.com/FOSDEM. We'd love to share this with the world.
