Take the test on Day 1 (27 December) and become a radio amateur! Prove that you have knowledge in electronics and know what you are allowed to do.
This test will be multiple-choice.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Please let us know by email if you want to participate, so we know how many people want to take the test. (You can come spontaneously at the risk of us not being prepared for the number of participants.)
- Bring an offical ID such as a passport or German ID card (Personalausweis), NOT a driver's license!
- This will be at CCC Hamburg, as we cannot do this at the Congress Center, this is about 3 km from the event! (How to get there: https://www.hamburg.ccc.de/#wegbeschreibung , look at the address, the rail lines that are mentioned have changed)
- This is set to 180 minutes, but you will probably need far less time, we just want to give you enough time.
- Please be on time, otherwise we cannot guarantee that you can take the test
- You will need to register an FRN with the FCC in advance ( https://www.fcc.gov/wireless/support/knowledge-base/universal-licensing-system-uls-resources/getting-fcc-registration )
