Deufel always had a strong fascination for the human auditive perception, the hearing and audiovisual synesthesia. Schengber created endless generative visual patterns in which one can easily lose themself; strange, digital, algorithmic worlds. Together Schengber and Deufel create immersive installations with a tendency towards artificial intelligence, multimedia compositions and live performances with generative realtime systems. In their works they explore the influence of sound and music on emotions and pictures, the narrative and remembrance power of sound and its enormous impact on perception of space.
