In this session the data-output of Firefox during surfing shall be reduced as far as possible, via standard settings, about:config and a few AddOns. The participants should bring their own devices with a primordial Firefox to play with, e. g. a portable version. With presentation slides, examples and do-it-yourself the Firefox will be data-sealed.. Target group are interested everyday-users, special IT knowledge is not necessary nor available by the lecturer. Specialists are welcome to complement and check the content.
In dieser Sitzung soll der Datenausstoss des Firefox beim Surfen soweit möglich reduziert werden, mit Standardeinstellungen, about:config und ein paar AddOns. Die TeilnehmerInnen sollten ein eigenes Gerät mit einem ursprünglichen Firefox mitbringen, z. B. eine portable Version. Anhand von Vortragsfolien, Beispielen und Selbermachen wird der Firefox weitestgehend datendicht gemacht. Zielgruppe sind interessierte AlltagsnutzerInnen, tiefergehende IT-Kenntnisse sind weder erforderlich noch beim Vortragenden vorhanden. Fachleute können gerne teilnehmen und den Inhalt ergänzen und prüfen.
