C.H.A.O.S.
What is C.H.A.O.S.
C.H.A.O.S. stands for "Creative Hackerspaces Are On Stage" which is a really bad name for a really cool idea.
Huh?
Get 5 minutes of fame @30C3 on stage in front of the whole audience and live in the streams! We will try to use the time between talks to show as many hackerspaces, computer clubs, space ships (or where ever you are from) as possible via prerecorded videos you send us. It's all about you! Show us your hackerspace, tell us interesting things that happen in your location during congress, etc.

FAQ
- We want to make some commentary for the video, what language should we use?
- As an intergalactic conference, we would like to have the videos in a widely known language, like klingon or english. If you want to use any other language, please provide subtitles for your video...
- What codec should we use?
- We prefer open formats and really hope, that you like them too, but thanks to the folks from VLC, codecs are no longer the same PITA as in the nineties. As long as VLC can play it, it should be fine.
- Do you have any other restrictions for the video?
- The projectors in the CCH are widescreen 1080p devices, so widescreen is good, resolutions bigger than FullHD are not helpful.
