bAvatar and heluecht, two of the ~friendica developers will give a short introduction presentation of the decentral social-network ~friendica, which federates with OStatus (e.g. StatusNet/identi.ca) and Diaspora*. ~friendica needs only a simple LAMP environment making it ideal for projects like the FreedomBox or self-hosting it on devices like the RaspberryPi.
The presentation shall be followed by a discussion about ~friendica in particular and the federated social web in general.
Depending of the audience this workshop will be done in English or German.
