Neuvorschlag zur Formulierung der Policy nach Diskussion (deutsche Version folgt, Links kommen natuerlich wieder rein):

The Chaos Computer Club is, by its chapter and by common consent, a galactic organization of all life forms, regardless of their age, gender or upbringing.

We are dedicated to providing a safe and comfortable experience for everybody attending our events, regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, race, physical appearance or disability. We do not tolerate harassment of participants of the Congress in any form. As stated previously, we also don't tolerate life forms who refuse to share this openness towards others.

The Congress has always been a place where people can enjoy technology and culture, no matter what their background is. To keep it that way: If someone is misbehaving and you want support, let the Congress volunteers (Engel) know, they will be glad to help. Have the courage to ask us!

Das ist ein Teil des Textes der Policy, der aus meiner Sicht noch nicht diskutiert wurde und den ich gern zur Diskussion stellen moechte (und dem ich persoenlich nicht zustimmen moechte):

Participants of the Chaos Communication Congress violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the Congress without a refund at the discretion of the organizers.

Harassment includes offensive verbal comments and actions such as deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention. Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.

If a participant engages in harassing behavior, the organizers of the Congress may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the Congress with no refund. If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, you can contact a Congress volunteer anytime. Volunteers can be identified by their badges.

Congress volunteers will be happy to help participants contact hotel/venue security or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the conference. We value your participation.

Erdgeist findet Folgendes

Probleme mit Grenzüberschreitungen sollten nicht an "den Verantwortlichen" outgesourced werden.
Eine Eskalation eines Übergriffs an die Security, die im Ernstfall zu einem Rauswurf führt, findet – retrospektiv gesehen – nicht statt. Von Scham über Mitleid bis Angst, zum Denunzianten erklärt zu werden, sind dazu viele Gründe denkbar.
Daher eher erziehen Richtung: "im Kleinen Signale an die Umstehenden aussenden", gleichzeitig ein "nehmt Signale wahr und ernst". Policy für krasse Übergriffe an die Engel, nicht an die Öffentlichkeit.
Was, wenn es in der Realwelt passiert, noch im Rahmen ist, kann in Massen leicht zur Grenzüberschreitung werden. Eine strikte Definition ist daher entweder zu schwammig oder zu strikt. Gesunder Menschenverstand hilft.
Es ist wichtig, daß ein Klima herrscht, in dem es nicht wohlwollend betrachtet oder feige ignoriert wird. Eingreifen wäre zwar schön, lässt sich aber auch schwer kodifizieren.

Mein Textvorschlag in deutsch

Zeigt bitte im Kleinen Zivilcourage. Hofft nicht, daß schon Erziehungsberechtigte Anderer oder Euer Probleme lösen werden. Akzeptiert Grenzen und zeigt Anderen ruhig aber deutlich, wenn sie Grenzen überschreiten. Solltet Ihr mit einer Situation nicht klarkommen, sind im Zweifel unsere Engel für Euch da.

Show courage. Do not assume some grown ups will solve awkward situations you encounter or wittness. Accept boundaries and communicate calmly, if you notice violations. If you experience situations you can not handle alone, there's always our chaos angels.'
