Abstract
The SolarRoboFlower is a robotic flower that seeks light, looks good and makes a nice gift.
Full Description
The first prototype was assembled >5 years ago by Daniel 'mind' Schatzmayr.
For metalabs 5th anniversary we had a big party were the flower was redigined and build at a workshop.
During that days we decided to make a simpler design that can be packed as a kit and built at home.
It took over a year from this decision to the final product and we learned 1000000 things during that process (but that is a different story).
The kit contains over 200 different parts, custom electronics with an arduino compatible firmware and comes in different editions
To 29C3 we will bring:
- A cheaper wooden flower kit
- A black acryl kit 'le vampir'
- A kit made from shiny translucent material
For 29C3 we will make exclusive prices that just cover the material and packing costs, as 29C3 is NOT a commercial event and shall never be one.
