Introduction
The motto of the 29th chaos communication congress is: "not my department". It can be interpreted as a critical question that can be added to any given issue or topic of concern. It is about the urge to research and create and an attitude towards the responsibility for its possible consequences.

The logo of the congress is a visual interpretation of the abstract motto. is not a simple symbol, but a way to write and make comments. It is not about placing a picture somewhere, but saying something in a special way. Letters and words are segmented by the separators . - / : ; ( ) [ ] { }.
