In this session, we'll look at how hackers can collaborate with investigative journalists.
The two groups have plenty in common -- an urge to work out out how things really work, and a knack for approaching problems from an unexpected angle. So what could we do if we combined our talents?
Coders: we'll have some small projects that we could work on together during the Congress. Security experts: how would you communicate with sources? Protect your own anonymity? Use forensic security techniques in journalism? Designers: think about how to make complex information comprehensible Everybody: share ideas, thoughts, news
No experience necessary, and you're welcome to drop in for just part of the session.
