Talk:TranslatingAnnalistDotNoblogsDotOrg
From 24C3 Public Wiki
Regarding the subject of "focusing on Anna only", I want to point out that this project does not solely direct the main users of this wiki (participants of 24C3) towards translating Anna's blog, but also gives her supportive readers beyond the ccc a platform to help her. I guess I don't need to explain why I'd prefer a wiki hosted by ccc over one of those "free" wikis that can be found on the web. In conclusion: no need focus all your energies on this one blog, but please provide the platform!

Translating a blog
Since Anna's blog - like most blogs - contains a very personal view (personal experience and feelings...), it is mandatory for Anna to proofread to confirm if the translation still carries her personal note.
The question is: is this method efficient? Does the translating save anough work? Would it be more efficient to publish english texts on the matter without that personal note, thus without the need of her to proofread and publish it herself on her blog?
Just some thoughts after my first try - so far, I'd still say that reading it from someone with "1st-hand-experience" makes it much more interesting to read, hence it makes sense to put up with the problems described above.
