Drone & Cymatics
We get together and make some drone music and mess around with cymatics visualizations. Collectively we set a meditative background tone for ongoing conversations, collaboration and contemplation.
"Drone music" can be categorized as a minimalistic, low frequency, ambient kind of music with not so fast variations and "cymatics" is the study of vibration patterns in a physical medium, in this case we use loudspeakers and water to visualize sound waves.
Bring your toys, effect pedals, midi devices, whatever and lets see where this takes us.
The project will be ongoing off and on during the whole congress, so just drop by the [tbd] assembly in the komona area. Listen for drone sounds and look out for cymatics visualizations!
