In middle 2026 the new european rules for the common european asylum system (CEAS) will take effect. Those new rules will worsen the condition for asylum seekers and will violate there basic human rights.

As migration lawyers we are currently preparing for the new rules in order to be able to represent our clients effecively. Our goal is to achive successes against the more and more restrictive rules and their application, once they take effect.

There is a new, small cooperation of lawyers across europe and we are still beginning to organize ourselves. One thing is clear, though: Right wing activists, politicians and their cops are better organized on a european level, than we are. There is a lot to do!

The international exchange about court decisions will be central to our network. If a court elsewhere has already decided a legal question in our favor, it is easier to convince a court here, that we are right. Especially when all these CEAS regulations come into force, it will be important to achieve quick successes in courts, in order to shape the interpretation of the new rules for the coming years.

We need support for this: We would like to have an online platform where court decisions can be shared and legal questions discussed, an interface that people enjoy using and where we can make each other more clever - in order to help our clients assert their rights.
