Vaporwave, a very esoteric music genre, often misunderstood as just a meme, has a deeply fascinating culture. This project, hosted at the BEAT assembly, is a place for exchange and consumption all around this truly absurd art movement.

If your are in the mood for listening to some vaporwave, you can come around at night at our listening sessions. From classic albums that must be heard from front to back, to DJ sets, it will be awesome. If you are lucky, there will also be vaporwave during the day time.

We furthermore also have a thematically fitting CRT with a Nintendo 64 (see related project), and a consumerism-oriented chewing-bar shelf.

This is not a special BEAT subject, but rather just the personal taste of one of the BEAT organizers, who wants to try stuff out, and fill out the rather short staffed assembly and the rather thin program.
