‘roads of transition’ is a combination of two independent games. Both are deeply rooted in the experience of discovering one's own gender identity, and both are somehow connected to roads. In ‘do you like music?’, the player engages in dialogue and influences the path the experience will take. The (un)official sequel, ‘A10646,’ is about the murder of a young woman and the investigation that takes place somewhere between then and there, tomorrow and here. ‘roads of transition’ is about breaking conventions, about the simultaneity of trauma and escapism, of choice and powerlessness, of endings and new beginnings.
