The Hardware for Future (HW4F) Project in Leipzig collects donations of computer hardware, refurbish it and distribute it to people in need. Since April 2020 we saved over 3.142 computers to be scrapped and give people a chance to take part on digitalisation. The projects build on Open Source Software to manage the requests of people and equip the computers with a new open operating system and software.
