CHATONS "Collectif des Hébergeurs Alternatifs, Transparents, Ouverts, Neutres et Solidaires" (Collective of alternative, transparent, open, neutral and supportive hosting providers) is the collective of French-speaking ethical hosting providers. This collective aims to bring together structures offering free, ethical and decentralized online services to enable users⋅ices to quickly find alternatives that respect their data and privacy to the services offered by GAFAM (Google, Apple, Facebook, Amazon, Microsoft). CHATONS is a collective initiated by the Framasoft association in 2016 following the success of its Dégooglisons Internet campaign.
