You drive to the congress by means of transportation that allows you
to take other people with you (car/train with group ticket/...)?
Offer other travellers to come with you.
It will reduce the number of cars that need a parking space,
you can share expenses for fuel, parking, tickets -
plus you will have more fun than if you travel alone.
