- Why the heck do you squeeze the PAL video to VGA resolution ? You had PAL, stay with PAL ! Don't mess the quality by shrinking the resolution ... If I wanted quirky video's I would have recorded the streams ...
- Video files have annoying clicks at start/end of startcredits
- yep, but we don't know why (maybe a buggy /dev/zero ?)
- Hint: the silence is not at zero, but rather at one (seems your /dev/zero returns 1?).
- yep, but we don't know why (maybe a buggy /dev/zero ?)
- we'll try different intros/outros starting from day3 (sak)
- some video files (I tried mkv) are async
- 24c3-2356-de-computer_popsongs.mkv in the official recordings should be labled "en"
- "Programming DNA"
(ID 2329) needs to be renamed. Right now the file is called "24c3-2329-en-change_me.mkv"

A missing Video is no Bug
Hopefully all Videos except the Rule34 Contest will be released soon. We had a hard work and very little sleep@congress so give us some days to calm down a little bit.
- Will the following videos (or videos to the following events) be placed online? (yes I attended the conference, it's just that I would like to review them): 2133, 2254, 2257, 2277, 2281, 2335, 2351, 2359, 2366, 2379, 2385, 2401
Some events on the last day are still in the queue since the guys from FeM left quickly after the finishing event, and are taking some days off. --Niere 23:34, 1 January 2008 (CET)
Thank you very much, for your hard work loading all that videos up! I do enjoy them.
Not a bug per se
For the sake of bandwidth preservation, I have noticed that many of the videos have a black border encoded into the video around the actual content. The mpeg format creates a lot of bytes when it has a transition from colour to black. This is most common when it is from the overhead projector as opposed to the camera, the camera always seems to fill the entire frame. However, if things were sized properly, so that the black was cropped out the resulting mpeg files would be smaller, and thus not require as much bandwidth to download or disk space to store. It does not matter (to me) if this is done on the existing videos, but I think it would be a good thing to make a note of for next time. Yes bandwidth and disk is getting cheaper and will continue to do so in the future, but why waste it? :) Trixter 17:33, 27 January 2008 (CET)
