whats that projekt.wifo.uni-mannheim.de/elmar/nav?firstLetter=B&dest=search.shoplist&page=9&rid=114&blocksize=20&erotic=off crawl for? just curious :) --Minime 10:48, 18 December 2007 (CET)

It's a list of all online-shops that follow the shopinfo.xml -standard. If a user is searching for products, that is a good place to start indexing without having the shops pay for cost-per-click because of our crawl. --MarcusWolschon 11:01, 18 December 2007 (CET)

IP

whats that yacyserver ip btw? is it also supposed to be used as a proxy? --Minime 10:48, 18 December 2007 (CET)

That will be determined by the NOC at the start of the congress. It will be have native IPv4 and IPv6 but the hardware will probably not be strong enough to act as a proxy for everyone. The focus lies on widening the current index. It would be a better idea to start your own yacy localy for that. --MarcusWolschon 11:01, 18 December 2007 (CET)
