High definition video and reasons for using it in a VJ context
Technics and Ideas for VJing in high resolutions made possible by the new consumer video format HDV.
HDV, the new consumer format for high definition video enables people with a relative small budget to work with resolutions of 1920x1080 and 1280x720 with low datarates and the possibility to edit this material on a "normal" pc or mac this will be the next step for enhanced vjing. i will explain the new format and show how it can be used for making really exciting big projections in a quality never seen before. the editing will be explained and how to make video files for using them in a enviroment which is often seen on a vj desktop.
