Participants must bring their laptops with Linux or another Unix-like operating system (preferably one that can run x86 Linux binaries).
There will be a few Milkymist One boards available for lending for the workshop's duration, and more for sale nearby. For participants without a board, the workshop activities can be carried out using a patched version of the QEMU emulator whose installation will be explained if needed.
