LojbanWorkshop
Slides and stuff (Post workshop: added some more links)
Lojban is a constructed language (see Sai Emrys' talk) that was designed to be understood by humans and computers alike. Therefore it has many features that make it interesting to techies and hackers especially.
In this workshop you will get an overview about Lojban's concepts and motivations and you will learn to compose and decompose simple sentences.
We recommend that you take a quick look at the Wikipedia article about Lojban before attending the workshop so that you'll have a rough idea what this is about, but for those who spontaneously decide to drop by we will summarize the important bits at the beginning of the workshop.
We'll be there during the whole Congress, so if you are unable to attend the workshop or have any other questions, you can find us by looking for people in Lojban shirts who are speaking in tongues. ;)
This workshop will probably held in German, although we can certainly switch to English if desired.
