[edit] Description of the Project
We would like to introduce CONFidence to the people at CCC. It is the first initiative that want to create a hackers' community in Central Europe and provide a meeting place for all of those who want to discuss security & hacking and meet people who share their interest. Because this year CONFidence is organized with OWASP conference, we want to promote Open Web Application Security Project, as well.
CONFidence is much more than just a conference – CONFidence offers not only best speakers, current topics and top trainings, but (even more importantly) great parties, cool contests, crazy social events and a time and space to meet community members face-to-face, talk, drink and hack.
CONFidence is divided into two tracks: Network & OS and Web & Database. This year's speakers include Bruce Schneier, an American cryptographer, described by many as the ’security guru’. Bruce is without any doubts one of the key figures in global security community. Before he started BT Counterpane, he worked for DOD, AT&T. He is an author of many books and publications. Joanna Rutkowska will start the second day of the CONFidence. She is a world wide known security researcher, an excellent specialist on virtualization security. Joanna is a frequent guest at prestigious conferences such as BlackHat and HiTB.
This year's events include Capture the Flag, Grill & Barbecue Feast, Ultimate Robot Fights and big, loud after-party.
The Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) is a worldwide free and open community focused on improving the security of application software. Our mission is to make application security visible, so that people and organizations can make informed decisions about application security risks. Everyone is free to participate in OWASP and all of our materials are available under a free and open software license.

[edit] What will we do at 25C3?
We'd like to promote CONFidence and encourage 25C3 crowd, especially those from Poland, to be more involved in community activities. Our goal is also to get people to contribute their time and skills to OWASP free projects. We want to talk, inspire, give away cool gadgets, free tickets for CONFidence and lots of original Polish vodka shots.
