VMS at the 23c3
This year the the 23c3, we are planning on building and opening a OpenVMS Cluster for public use, we will also be answering questions about its usage and will be able to give people small crashcourses.
The system we will be using will consist of VMS 7.3 VAX nodes, a VMS 8.2 Alpha node for disk storage, and several VMS 8.3 AXP nodes. Most of these nodes will be running headless, except for the DS10 which will be used as our workstation, and the VAXstation 4000/60 machine, which will be configured as a VMS workstation, and will be physically accessible.
We will also try to get some paper documentation handouts available giving some short tutorials on VMS usage.
More to follow later ;-)
