Technological art off the trodden tracks |
Jussi Ängeslevä
Interaction/concept designer & assistant professor at UdK.
Holding MA in Audio Visual Media Culture from the University of Lapland in Finland, and MA in Interaction Design from the Royal College of Art, Jussi worked 2 years at the Media Lab Europe in Dublin as a researcher. Currently he is an assistant professor at the
University of Arts in Berlin and working as a senior concept designer at ART+COM, Berlin. His field of specialisation is in physical and embodied interfaces.
His work has been presented internationally in events and venues such as Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography, Siggraph, National Institute of Health in Maryland, ZKM and Science Museum London. In the recent years he has received awards from RSA, NESTA, and most recently two Silver Awards from D&AD, High Commendation from Prix Ars Electronic, Gold Award from the ADCE and BAFTA nomination for Interactive Art.
