Biographie:

Mikko Välimäki, born 1976, is a researcher at the Helsinki University of Technology, Finland. He has recently visited UC Berkeley in 2000-2001 and is aiming at Ph.D in law & technology. Mikko has gained practical experience as co-founder and chairman of Electronic Frontier Finland. He has also founded several software startups including Tergat Solutions Ltd, a Hong Kong based company developing easy-to-use applications for MySQL database. Moreover, Mikko has consulted companies in software licensing and has e.g. translated GNU GPL and other open source licenses

into Finnish.
