Carsten Pohle is a doctoral student and teaching assitant at the E-business department of the Handelshochschule Leipzig. At this institute leading edge research is conducted in the field of datamining. It is headed by Prof. Dr. Myra Spilipoulou (see

Carsten Pohle will introduce the current status of research in the field of Web usage mining and discuss the practical possibilities and limitations of data mining with respect to privacy issues.
