Cypherpunks write code... ...and Cypherpunks do build their own Bitcoin Hardware Wallets. We will have a 1-2h workshop on Specter-DIY.

We will have a 1-2h workshop on Specter-DIY Bitcoin Hardware Wallet.

Bring your laptop to compile the wallet firmware and to run it in a simulator (or on real hardware). Debian/Ubuntu are the easiest options. We will discuss the security model of Specter-DIY and the tradeoffs of the wallet.

You can do the workshop using the simulator only, but if you want to get one - I have 6 Disco board. (60€) and 4 QRCode scanners (40€). we have mini-usb cables. we do not have batteries, so you will either connect to your PC or you need to bring a battery.
