| Description | CryptoParties are free and open for everyone, but especially those without prior knowledge, who haven't yet attended one.
CryptoParty is a decentralized movement with events happening all over the world. The goal is to pass on knowledge about protecting yourself in the digital space. This can include encrypted communication, preventing being tracked while browsing the web, and general security advice regarding computers and smartphones. To try the tools and apps directly at the CryptoParty, bring your laptop or smartphone. |

The CryptoParty Assembly at the 34th Chaos Communication Congress (27-Dec-2017 to 30-Dec-2017) in Leipzig is intended as an open space for everyone – independent of age, gender or technical expertise. We want to meet other people, share knowledge and have fun while doing so.

Want to know how to throw your own CryptoParty? We do it all the time all over the world. You're very much welcome to join the movement. You can drop in any time at the assembly.

Documentation & Resources
Here we improve the existing documentation on this very website or in form of the CryptoParty Handbook, create new flyers, stickers, etc. Anything that helps people to improve their knowledge or spread the word. We will meet at the assembly for specific topics (see session list below). Feel free to add anything that might be missing to the wishlist.
