Description DVB-S is the core technology behind Digital Satellite Television. This will be a look into the technical aspects of how Satellite TV is transmitted, received, how the standard works and how to abuse it for your own entertainment. Low Power and Low Cost hardware is now capable of both transmitting and receiving DVB - a Raspberry Pi and an SDR are all you need to get started.

We'll look at setting up a DVB-S station and what parts are required.

Expect a presentation, demonstration and then discussion to share ideas.
